Our Services

There’s no Job too big or too small for us to take on.

RESIDENTIAL

Air leakage accounts for 25-40% of the energy used for heating and cooling in a typical home. That’s the equivalent of always leaving a window open, allowing conditioned air to leave your home and unconditioned air and moisture to enter it through gaps, cracks and holes in the building envelope. At one inch spray foam insulation is a air barrier, with all air infiltration points completely sealed off a dramatic drop in heat loss can be achieved.

COMMERCIAL

Commercial foam insulation products are specially formulated to meet the design, energy efficiency and code standards of the Canadian market. All of our commercial foam insulation products, which perform for the life of the building, allow architects and engineers to meet intricate design goals with confidence.

WALLS

Closed Cell foam is what we Spray for all exterior walls. Not only does it add structural integrity it’s an air barrier at 1 inch and a class 2 vapour barrier at 2 inches. Spray foam is a unique product compared to other building products. Spray foam is manufactured on-site at the time of application. Most other building products are manufactured
in a factory and delivered to the job site: sheetrock, fiberglass insulation, OSB, roof shingles,
framing lumber, duct work, etc.  It can be sprayed directly to any surface such as wood, brick, concrete, drywall, metals (galvanized steel requires at primer)

FLOORS/CEILINGS

When a floor over is poorly air sealed, air can leak through a number of locations, such as the band joists, structural framing, and knee walls. Air leaks can lead to a host of issues, such as cold floors, freezing pipes, and chilled duct runs that prevent the HVAC system from working properly. A poorly sealed floor cavity has a significantly reduced R-value and isn’t much better than a floor cavity with no insulation at all. Air sealing the floor cavity properly is key.

In this application the spray foam is applied directly to the underside of the roof. Because of the foams high per inch R-value as well as being an air barrier at 1 inch and a vapor barrier at 2 inches this method is also very popular in half story retrofits because of the 2×4 cathedral ceiling rafters. Cathedral ceilings can add an element of charm and grandeur to any home,

BASEMENTS

The most important thing about finishing your basement is to insure that it’s insulated properly, or you are just going to create the perfect environment for mould and mildew to thrive. Exposure to mould and mildew can lead to health problems – not the kind of thing you want your family exposed to. Once you finish your basement warm air from inside your nice new drywall will migrate behind the wall and come in to contact with the foundation walls behind the batt insulation.

Rim Joists

Rim Joists, also referred to as Joist Headers or Joist Ends are a very critical area to focus on in regards to proper insulation. This space is located between the top of the basement wall, and the start of the first floor. This floor/wall interface is a major source of heat loss and infiltration.

Functions as a air and class 2 vapour barrier spray foam is an excellent choice to seal and insulate various types of commercial and farm buildings. It will help keep work areas comfortable in winter or summer, and will actually “tighten” a building and add structural integrity.
